What is happening at Rock Hollow Woods?

Celebrating Summer Camps

Calling all youth volunteers!

During the week of August 16th - 21st there will be a collaborative project happening between Youth Volunteer Corps of Reading and Rock Hollow Woods! With the guidance of construction experts, children ages 11-18 will have the hands-on experience of building a boardwalk that will provide access to the stream for another creek exploration and learning station. Two picnic tables will also be built and positioned in this location to add to the new learning area.

Any teens interested in being involved in this project, please contact Michelle Zeitz by email: [email protected]. You can also check out this link for more information and to sign up for a time slot(s).

It's that time of year!

Does your company participate in a matching donation program? Please consider directing your donation to Rock Hollow Woods Environmental Learning Center!

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization operating entirely on donations and grants, with certified teachers that devote their time and talents to provide children with outdoor opportunities to discover and learn about the natural world and empower them to protect their environment.

Children who spend time exploring their natural world build life-long skills like confidence, problem solving, creativity, and cooperation. Please support our children in nature.

Thank You!

We'd like to thank The GIANT Company for recently choosing us as a recipient for a $1,000 grant. This grant money will help to cover the costs of preparations and maintenance needed to follow the CDC safety guidelines for running our programs at Rock Hollow Woods.
