Connected Communities & Colby Mountain Recreation Area Community Meeting

THIS Sunday, 11/21

It's been 2 years since our last community meeting about Connected Communities and the Colby Mountain Recreation Area. 

Join us on Sunday November 21 at the Chico Women's Club for exciting updates on the projects and to provide your input and feedback on the master plans. 

We'll share a couple short videos about each project and then hear from Greg Williams from Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship and Thad Walker from Chico Velo Trailworks on project updates and needs. 

You can also learn more about the project and provide your feedback through the Connected Communities Survey​ online or find hard copies of the survey at North Rim Adventure Sports, Chico Mountain Sports, Chico Sports LTD, Greenline Cycles, Campus Bikes, AMain Cycling, and Paradise Bikes

Light refreshments will be provided.

Admission is free but RSVP is REQUIRED

Middle Trail Work Day Recap!

Thank you to this productive group of Trailworks volunteers last weekend! We cleared and rebuilt multiple drains on Upper Middle Trail and even added a few more. Drains are critical for Upper Park trails because they allow water to exit the trail rather than run down it which causes erosion and gullies. Stay tuned for additional work days over the next 2 months.

Always remember to check if trails are open to ride by checking trail status on the City of Chico's website​ and watching the signs posted at trail heads.
