Summary

The past 24 hours has been a game changer for the Snowies. We've been hanging onto a decent base most the season, but been lacking in the powder...NOT TODAY! Reports are coming in at 2+ feet right on the trail starting out of Green Rock parking area with closer to 3 feet when going off trail!

Rider Reports

2/15/2018 - Took off out of Green Rock with a foot to 2 feet of powder right on the trail. As soon as we got off trail, not even a mile or two up, we were well over the hood in probably close to 3 feet! It is epic right now...EXCEPT for the visibility. We ended up coming back around noon due to whiteout conditions from heavy snow and winds. Can't wait to go out in the morning though. Hopefully the visibility will improve by then.

2/4/2018 - It was just a short ride today so we stayed just south of U trail in the trees. But the wind protected meadows had a good foot of powder sitting in them. Decent base everywhere we went, never tapped anything. When we worked our way over to T trail and started going south on that, the snow diminished FAST! Like half the depth of fresh snow in less than 2 miles. I would definitely suggest staying as far North as possible after seeing that. ~Happy Riding
