Yoga in the Great Outdoors starts on Monday, June 5th from 6:00 - 7:15 p.m. at Rock Hollow Woods and occurs every Monday through September. What a beautiful way to start your week. Gardening with Natives by Gardens Galore - July 8th Gardening with Natives , hosted by Gardens Galore of Berks and Rock Hollow Woods ELC will be held on Saturday, July 8th, 2023. Guided Hike- 11:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Presentation- 12:00 p.m. - 1:45 p.m. Join us as we learn about building gardens with native plants during this program for adults. Join us for both a hike and the presentations, OR just the presentations. Participants are invited to take a guided hike at Rock Hollow Woods Environmental Learning Center first from 11:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Then starting at 12:00 p.m., presenters Lisa Doseff and Rita Tomasetti will share their tips and stories with us in the McCarney Learning Center. Summer is Just Around the Corner ​ Summer camps offered for K-1st & 2nd-7th Summer is just around the corner and our camps are filling up fast! Visit our website to sign up today before it's too late. Programs and summer camps are run by certified educators and provide authentic hands-on experiences in nature. With low child-to-teacher ratios, every effort is made to ensure that all who attend Rock Hollow Woods have enjoyable experiences and leave with cherished memories that last a lifetime. In May we enjoyed a variety of educational programs. Toddler Time on the Trail, Homeschool Happenings, Nature Pre-K graduation, Afterschool Adventurers Nature Club, 14 field trips (Reading SD, Schuylkill Valley SD, Twin Valley SD, Lancaster Country Day School), Junior Scout Animal Habitat Badge, and 'Walk in the Woods.' Walk in the Woods 2023 Troop 1905 earned their Animal Habitat Badge Afterschool Adventurers Nature Club Spring Field Trips Homeschool Happenings Toddler Time on the Trail Nature Pre-K Class of 2023!
