Decoding Client Commitment Language: A Predictor of Drug Use Outcomes in Motivational Interviewing | |

Check out this study that examined how client language in motivational interviews relates to drug use outcomes. Analyzing interviews with 84 drug abusers, commitment strength during the interview was found to be a key factor. Three groups emerged based on days abstinent: maintainers, changers, and strugglers. Commitment strength during the interview, influenced by desire, ability, need, and reasons, predicted post-interview abstinence, highlighting its role in shaping behavior. | |

There are a lot of EMDR Basic Trainings out there and not all of them include the 10 hours of consultation required to complete the course in the price of one! Do your research and reach out with any questions you might have before signing up for a training!
