Registration for Toddler Time on the Trail (Monday/Wednesday/Friday offerings), Afterschool Adventurers Nature Club , and Homeschool Happenings are OPEN ! These programs fill up fast so register today. Bat-tacular Bats -Saturday, September 30th, 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Join us on Saturday, September 30th for our Bat-tacular Bats adventure! Participants will enjoy a 40 minute Fall hike throughout Rock Hollow Woods as they see signs of the season changing, observing foliage, birds, animal tracks, and more. Following the hike, participants will experience a presentation by Pennsylvania Bat Rescue in our charming stone pavilion. Participants will learn all about the mysterious world of bats, their importance, ecological benefits, environmental impacts and how to help local bats in their own backyard. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet our non-releasable bats, hear their story, and learn about this amazing organization that focuses on conservation, education, and rehabilitation of our furry friends.
