Hello again and Happy New Year!
Okay, the annual meeting is in the past. We have changed the definition of family in the by laws. To change the by laws a ballot vote is needed. The results of the vote at the annual meeting was 98 for the change and 28 against the change. The 2018 by laws and the 2018 policy/rules can be read on the Jerome Country Club website. The web site also has the ability to make on line tee times, and features the aerial view of the course.
We have placed the value of memberships in the treasury at $2500. That makes it clear that it is more practical to sell your membership than just turn it into the treasury. We as a board will start trying to come up with a plan of establishing a single membership. This is a very complex task.
2018 was a good year for the Jerome Country Club. 2019 will even be better. The board has some future plans but we would like to hear your ideas and suggestions. The board meets every Tuesday after the tenth of the month at 6:30 at the club house. Come to a meeting to see what is happening or to give us your ideas, ask questions or whatever!

I hope that everyone had a very Merry Christmas and that you are enjoying the beginning of a New Year.
Watch for the 2019 Golf Event Schedule. The Schedule will be posted to the website in January. Many of the golf events remain on the schedule on or near the date of those events from previous seasons. The Schedule will be posted as soon as possible and will include an IGA State Championship in 2019.
The Jerome CC will be hosting the Idaho Golf Association State Four Ball Championship June 8th and 9th. The Four Ball is what is commonly referred to as a Two Person Best Ball format. Details will be forthcoming from both the Idaho Golf Association and Jerome Country Club
The Mens and Womens Association Fee Schedule and Application Forms will be included in the January Mailing from JCC. Remember that those fees are paid directly to the mens and womens associations. A Separate check must be sent to the associations. Please mail those to PO Box 452 in Jerome.
We are preparing for a new golf season and look forward to seeing all of you “In the Golfshop”.
