PRESIDENTS REPORT

by Dale Kemp

And welcome to our first publication of The Roo Way.
We are getting closer to moving into our new home and hopefully within the next month or so our-long journey of relocation will be complete.
It is certainly a very exciting time to be involved with the Clarence District Cricket Club and in what will be the club’s 60th year of existence (established 1956), I look forward to welcoming all the new players and families into our club.
I also look forward to reacquainting myself with many past players, and want to especially make them feel welcome that even though the club has relocated from Bellerive it is still very much their club.
The weather is proving a challenge for both training and playing but it has been especially pleasing to see the start to our season from our premier league A Grade boys who are currently sitting top of the ladder with 3 wins from 3 games.
There is certainly a very good feel around the place at the moment and I urge everyone to become involved in our club, to make it your club as well, in what is a fresh chapter of the Clarence District Cricket Club which is now 60 years old.
