Summary

Anybody that was here can attest...it was a WINDY week! Some waves of storms came through and freshened things up a bit, but nothing powder bound to report yet. Best reports continue to come in from the North/Northwest areas with the high plains/unprotected areas pretty well wind packed. Avalanche danger remains moderate to high with the large fluctuations in temperatures and high winds. Some more small waves of snow expected through the week.

Rider Reports

2/16/2019 - Besides visibility on Saturday, we found enough fresh to have fun. Nothing epic by any means, but in the trees we were able to stay in calf to knee high snow. The high plains were VERY wind settled and even polished slick by the wind.

2/9/2019 - Good base, but tough to find any decent powder. Most everywhere we went around Med. Bow Peak was wind settled or crusty layers. Need some fresh!

2/9/2019 - Great conditions for the group we had this week (some newbies). But realistically only 6-12" most places we went on the North side. When I personally got into the trees, it was maybe 16-ish". Won't ever argue with the calmer winds and great visibility in the Snowies though!
