"Walking Gone Wild" Launch!

It’s April. Are your thoughts stirring about getting out and moving your body more? If they are, here is the book for you! Dami Roelse’s book, “Walking Gone Wild, How to lose your age on the trail” tells you about the benefits of walking as we age, addresses how to overcome barriers to getting out and doing it, and guides you to adopt a walking mindset. For those already walking there are sections on hiking and backpacking with detailed advice on training and gear. For the not so enthusiastic readers the book is packed with inspiring stories and takes you to the experience of the trail with “trail musings”. You’ll be inspired to dust off your walking shoes, and grab your pack.

Meet the Author event: WALKING GONE WILD

Wednesday, May 2, 7-8 PM,  Ashland Public Library, Gresham room

What others have said:

"Reading this book made me want to get the lead out, strap my boots on, and go walking and exploring. Dami’s mix of philosophical musings, technical advice, personal insights into aging and loss and how to overcome their effect with mindful walking should encourage those looking for new inspirations to do the same."
