Jerome Country Club Club News December 2018 | Volume 20 | Issue 36 From Our President Pete Cantor Well, Hello! My name is Pete Cantor and I am your new Jerome Country Club board President. I think one of my biggest challenges as president will be writing this newsletter! As members, you won’t be seeing too many changes in the way the board does business. This organization is running smoothly and efficiently. Josh Hagley has done a terrific job as President. Josh will stay on the board for a few more years and help with the course improvement committee. During his term, we have accomplished a great deal. I am also very sorry to see Shauna Robinson and Kim Lee leave the board. Both of them have been good productive board members. Our two new members are Rick Tegan and Jake Bunn. I look forward to working with them. We do have a few plans for the future. We will be communicating the plans with the members before we make any major changes. I will be asking for your opinions. As members you can help us by taking more of an interest in the organization and let us know what you think. I invite you to come to the board meetings, read the newsletters, and take an active role in the goings on. Our annual board meeting is December 5th at 5:30. We will be having a social after the meeting with beer and light hors d’oeuvres. From the Pro Troy Vitek I hope that you all had a great Thanksgiving Holiday. The Club is participating in the Salvation Christmas Gift Program this year. If you would like to purchase a gift for a needy Child or family member, you may find the details in the JCC Lobby. Thanks to everyone who stopped in to shop during our Black Friday Golfshop Holiday Sale. We will also be open Friday December 20th and Saturday December 21st for Christmas Shopping or if you have some tournament credit burning a hole in your pocket. Everything in the golfshop will be Special priced for Christmas. Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x $39.99 The Practice Range will remain open thru Sunday December 2nd, and will reopen in the early spring. Next seasons Golf Schedule will be finalized approximately January 1st, and published on the JCC website. We are anticipating a great 2019 Season.
