The Whitemouth River Recreation Commission's Monthly Newsletter | |
“November comes And November goes, With the last red berries And the first white snows.
With night coming early, And dawn coming late, And ice in the bucket And frost by the gate.
The fires burn The kettles sing, And earth sinks to rest Until next spring.” ― Clyde Watson, a poem about November

While November might seem like a dreary month, with the end of warmer days and the start of snow shoveling , there is so much to do within our community this month. Craft sales, Chase the Ace, Ladies Night, and so much fun to fill the month. Keep scrolling to learn about programs and events happening in the RM of Whitemouth this month.
Enjoy the last few snowless days of the year,

The Whitemouth 4-H Club needs your help! 🍀🍀🍀
We are looking for group leaders to help with our club! Commitment is minimal.
As a leader your job is to deliver the content of the 4-H programming. How is that done? SIMPLE! Each leader will get a manual to follow. Each manual includes the class topic, activities and outline to follow, to lead the group through the session. Your 4-H group (approximately 6 participants) will meet every other week to complete different topics and projects.
Session 1: October-January ( a total of 9 classes together). This program is called Explore 4-H and each class covers different topics from cooking, sewing, arts/crafts, photography, money smarts, and woodworking. The leader does not have to be an expert in any certain topic. We just need someone to introduce each topic, while leading the group through a small project so that they learn about all the different projects available through 4-H.
Session 2: Runs February-May, and we are looking for leaders in Archery. This program will also run every second week for a total of 10 classes together.
if you or someone you know is able to help with part or all of our sessions, please contact the WRRC!
