Things I found, things I am saving for winter

Look at the treasures I found:

  • This week I wanted to try something a little different and throw in a printable Fill-in-the-Blank. You can download it below.
  • I added another item to my shop this week (I make it my goal to add something new every week if I can pull it.) These are Mother’s Day coloring pages. Check them out here.

Everything Happens for a Reason

My wife found a puppy this week that we fell in love with. She argued it was fate. So we drove 410 miles to pick her up and then snuggled with her for 410 miles back home. We've been laughing and playing with her ever since.

I'm so glad we found her! She's such a sweet pup.

The most exciting aspect of having a small puppy is observing their similarities with human children. For example, the way she sleeps reminds me of my youngest child, lying on her back with all her limbs raised, just like an infant would. She loves to be held and snuggles her head over your shoulder. And like most children, she explores everything, often repeating the same action to make sure she completely understands it.

It's fascinating how vital exploration is to development, both for animals and humans. It is nature's way of setting the foundations for growth, development, and survival. I think this is a beautiful illustration of one of the great truths in life: that everything happens for a reason.
