As the year comes to a close I want to say a special thank you to the people supporting me.

The 20 plus volunteers who dropped over 10,000 postcards to ward 11 homes. Thank you for your heart and your steps! I cannot wait to continue working with these wonderful people.

And to my family - our youngest who asks me weekly if I've won yet, our middle who gives great advice on how to build relationships and diffuse tense situations, and our oldest, who even though says politics isn't her thing, asks thoughtful questions about the future of Calgary. My partner encourages me daily to be true to myself and as he puts it 'you do you'. My mom and step-dad, for being relentless cheerleaders from the time I told them and when they can, the best babysitters (sometimes for the four-legged kids more than the two-legged ones).
My friends and extended family who hold space for me offer kind words, encouragement, and laughter.
At the end of the day, these relationships are the backbone of this campaign. They're the backbone of how we build community and work together to find innovative opportunities in Calgary.
