Join the Whitemouth 4-H Club for Highway Clean up, May 25, 2019!

The Whitemouth 4-H club, along with community volunteers will be spread out along the highway between Seven Sisters Falls and Highway 406.

The event will start at 9:00 am at the Lion's Park for a quick safety meeting! All clean up must be completed by 12:00 pm. All volunteers and community memebers are welcome to join us following clean up at the Lion's Park for a Community Picnic hosted by the Lion's Club.

*All participating in the highway clean up MUST be 8 years of age or older* As a new club, many of our 4-Her's are not old enough to participate which is why we hope to have the involvement of many community members as well! However, if there are families that would like to participate that have younger children, we will have a supervised play area and activities set up at the Lion's Park, so that the parents and older siblings can attend the clean up, while the younger kids are supervised and have some fun as well. Contact us if you'd like to particpate!

LET'S CELEBRATE!

This is a chance for members to show off their project work and accomplishments from the 4-H year to their family, friends and community.

Achievement is traditionally a time to also evaluate member project work, give recognition to members and leaders for their achievements, demonstrate to the public what 4-H is all about and give recognition to sponsors and others who have helped out the club in a special way.

Achievement events are an ending point to the club year. By planning an Achievement Event, preparing displays and performing demonstrations, members use the leadership and decision making skills that they have developed in the past year.

All are welcome to attend!
May 27, 2019 at the Whitemouth School
Presentations and demos from 6:00-7:00 pm - followed by light refreshments.

Recreation Opportunities for Children (ROC) Eastman is looking for board members from the North Eastman region. ROC Eastman works with families across the Eastman region, getting children involved in recreation and leisure activities when certain barriers might now allow them to do so on their own. This is a great opportunity to make a difference and reduce barriers to children particpating in recreation. Read more by clicking the button below:
