Rock Hollow Woods and Fit4Mom Reading are partnering to bring you Fitness in the Forest on Saturday, April 13th from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

We invite your entire family to join us for a workout at Rock Hollow Woods Environmental Learning Center, followed by a hike and outdoor learning activities. Fit4Mom Reading will lead the workout in a stroller-friendly area so that you can safely strap in your littles. Those little bodies can then break free of the strollers as Rock Hollow Woods staff runs a fun nature play-based activity when the workout is finished.

This is a great opportunity to learn about the ways in which both Fit4Mom Reading and Rock Hollow Woods Environmental Learning Center serve our local community - through physical activity, education, and overall health and wellness.

Do you have a teenager (14+) that enjoys being outdoors and is looking for a volunteer opportunity? We're looking for youth summer camp volunteers!

Rock Hollow Woods Environmental Learning Center a unique 67-acre nonprofit learning center whose mission is to provide children with outdoor opportunities to discover and learn about the natural world and empower them to protect their environment. Volunteers will be assisting teachers and children grades K-7 in their authentic, hands-on experiences in nature. Some of the camps include Outdoor STEM, Team Building and Environmental Games, Art Exploration through Nature, Outdoor Survival Adventures, and numerous others.

Modeling appropriate behavior is important and a love for nature and children is a plus. Days and times are flexible (Morning camps run 8:45 - 12:00, Afternoon camps run 12:15-3:30, or you could choose to stay all day.)
