Bare with me, this is going to be a long email!

Most things are staying the same around here at Luvmilk but there are several important updates I want you to be aware of. The most pressing one, I think, is that several scents are being Discontinued. I hate having to do this but every new year means it's time to get rid of what's not working so that I have room to experiment and create more things.

I'm incredibly apologetic if any of your favourites didn't make the cut into 2019 and understand how devastating it can be to lose a favourite. While there isn't anything I can do to make it easier, I have decided to hold a sale on these Discontinued scents in a 'when one door closes another opens' method.

What this means is that, starting January 1st, you will find three listings on my home page for Bath Soaks, Body Items, and Shower Items for the Discontinued scents paired with a scent that I think you may like if you enjoyed the scent that is leaving.

For example, you will be able to buy a 1oz Body Spray in the Discontinued scent and you will also receive a second 1oz Body Spray in the scent paired with it for you to try! Have questions? You can always email me at [email protected] for more clarification.

Leaving in 2019

Daddy's Princess: Ripe strawberry meets bubbly champagne and tart cassis.
Daisy Mae: Ripe, sugary strawberry with a hint of beach florals.
Fairy Blood: A tart blend of citrus and candied fruits with a hint of creamy vanilla.
Gilded Doll: Rich and warm vanilla, sugar, coconut, and sandalwood.
His Majesty: Dark, rich coffee and clove.
Unicorn Blood: Like berry picking in the summer; notes of grape, plum, peach, rose, citrus, and musk.

With the exception of Daisy Mae (which I will be giving the remainder to my mother as it was based on her late mother), the Discontinued scents will all be paired off with the following scents; in order:

Three of Hearts: Tart currant blended with wild berries, citrus rinds, sugar crystals, rose, and violet petals.
Notice Me Senpai!: Creamy marshmallow, pineapple, orange, and coconut.
Seven of Diamonds: Rich Madagascar vanilla bean, creamy french vanilla and hazelnuts, spoonfuls of brown sugar, and delicately sugared orchid petals.
Ace of Diamonds: A strong cup of coffee alongside spicy cayenne pepper flavoured caramels.
Alien Blood: Bubbly blackberry, cherry, peach, apricot, coconut, orange, and creamy vanilla.

As a note, you will be able to continue purchasing the Discontinued scents from regular listings but they will not be discounted. I am also removing any instance of the scents in 5-Piece Milk Bath Sampler sets, starting on January 1st, but you can still create your own Sampler with any of them while supplies last.

Once these scents are gone, they're gone!

More New Goodies

To combat the blues of Discontinuation, there are some additions coming next year! On January 1st I will also be releasing a Deluxe Shower Set. Like my Deluxe Bath Set, this will feature a handful of my products at a slight discount that you can buy your favourite scent in. The Shower Set will feature a Body Spray, Bubble Wash, Lotion, and Sugar Scrub in addition to Shampoo and Conditioner.

The 5-Piece Milk Bath Sampler sets are also getting a bit of a revamp. Check them out for new premade sets as well as the official Best Sellers 2018 set, starting on January 1st.

Coming January 26th (my shop anniversary), Moon Milk will be released as a General Catalog scent and Baby Bat Lip Balms will be permanently available. I'll also be introducing an additional five new scents to the General Catalog based off of some of my favourite video games.

New and already available is Silky Kitten who joined the General Catalog on December 26th as well as my Lawrence Head Enamel Pins that are great for pin collectors or anyone who wants to show off their Luv!

Vegan Friendly Glycerin Soaps and Butter Crumbles Coming Soon!

If you have been shopping with me for some time, I've heard your request and am finally going to be semi-permanently bringing Soaps and Butter Crumbles to the shop.

Every few months I will be restocking with various scents, look out for polls on my Patreon or Instagram and Facebook to help me select which scents you want in each format. I'll be doing three scents for Soaps and three scents for Butter Crumbles at each release and will be relying on your feedback to help me choose which comes each release! Tentatively the releases will be approximately every 4 months with the first being on January 26th. Products will be available until they sell out and then return on the next scheduled date.

Depending on demand this may change! I don't like anything of mine to create a sense of 'Fear Of Missing Out' and will do my best to keep things well stocked where possible.

Currently I have no plans to raise prices but I just want to make it clear to everyone that I may need to reevaluate some prices within the upcoming year. I don't think anything crazy will happen, perhaps a 50 cent or dollar increase on some things but I will give plenty of warning if that must happen.

The reason behind this potential change will simply be because the prices of supplies continue to go up and while I have done my best to remain firm where I am now, a few things may have to be tweaked if I want to keep my business running. I appreciate all of your understanding on this matter--and again, I don't plan on it being any time too soon!

A Packaging Change

Lastly, I am hoping to change the packaging of my Bag options for Milk Baths and Bath Salts. I have no exact ETA on when this will be available though I'm hoping by the end of January when my Shop Anniversary comes around. Look forward to resealable bags and stickers with the scent information on them!

Goodbye 2018

Thank you so much for making 2018 such an amazing and successful year. I've grown a lot and learned so much! I can't wait to see where 2019 takes us together and look forward to bringing you more scents and more products (I've got a laundry list of things I want to try) and the best service that I can.
