2018-2019 4-H Season Comes to an End

The Whitemouth 4-H Club has wrapped up their 2018-2019 season. From cooking, sewing, crafting, farm visits, veterinary visits even archery... it was an action packed season! During the months of September-January, members participated in introductory projects, that allowed them to explore a little bit of all the various projects of 4-H. In February, members got to choose between 4 projects, which were lead by community volunteers. These projects included Babysitting, Exploring Foods, Archery, and Small Animals.

Members also used their skills and participated in the Communication Events. members prepared and presented their very own speeches, covering a large array of topics like snakes, siblings and model trains.

Throughout the season, members took part in various events and community projects, like the Highway Clean up, that took place on May 25, 2019.

At the end of the season, the members celebrated their projects at the Achievement Celebration. Members received awards for project completion, while some members walked away with additional awards for 4-H Spirit Award (Hailey H.), Outstanding Project Award (Ava M.) and the Leadership Award (Charlie T.).

Congratulations to ALL the 14 Whitemouth members on a successful 4-H season!

Interested in learning more or want to help mentor a group next Fall? Contact the WRRC (204) 348-2221 ext. 106. Without volunteers, the program will not be able to run.
