The Magic of Nature

I love to draw pictures in outdoor settings. This is because I feel a lot of magic happens outside. When kids play outdoors, their imagination can run wild.

I draw many images inspired by nature and nature's wildlife, either natural landscapes or small details. A lot of the inspiration I feel has roots in childhood.

When I was a child, I loved to go outside and explore. The world was so diverse, flexible, and unpredictable. I would spend hours playing in the gully or climbing trees. Even now, as an adult, I feel a sense of magic when I'm outside, surrounded by nature.

There's something about nature. Maybe it's the way the sunlight filters through the leaves of a tree or the way a river bends around a rocky outcropping. Whatever it is, I can't get enough of it. And I know I'm not alone in this feeling. Whenever I see someone admiring a landscape or even just taking a moment to appreciate the simple beauty of a stone, I know that they are feeling the same magic that I do.

I hope that some of that magic makes its way into my art. Thanks for reading!
