The Lab and its partners Destination Northern Ontario, Tourism Excellence North, Sunset Country, Superior Country, and Tourism Thunder Bay officially launched the Northwest Ontario "Spark" Mentorships & Grants Program on September 1st.
Northwest Ontario residents, entrepreneurs, small businesses and non-profit organizations are encouraged to come forward with creative ideas that will generate new tourism opportunities, experiences and partnerships in the region. The application deadline is October 9th. | |
This summer, Bruce County, Regional Tourism Organization 7 (BruceGreySimcoe), and the Lab partnered to launch a Special Edition Bruce County "Spark" Mentorships & Grants Program in response to the COVID-19 crisis.
Tourism businesses in Bruce County submitted applications with ideas on how they could “re-imagine” or “re-tool” their tourism operations and offerings to respond, pivot and adapt to the evolving tourism industry landscape.
