Purchase your experience here Save the Bees!- May 7, 2022; 9:30-11:30 a.m. Join us for our Save the Bees! program on Saturday, May 7th. Enjoy the great outdoors while hiking through beautiful Rock Hollow Woods. Meet and listen to a local bee keeper as you check out the observation hive in the learning center, then hike to the pavilion area where you can sit and enjoy a puppet show performed by Poppycock Puppets. $5 per person. CLICK HERE for more information and to register today! Nature Photography for Adults- May 21, 2022; 9:00-11:30 a.m. Are you an adult with an interest in photography? Nature provides never-ending opportunities to capture beauty. Join us in Nature Photography for Adults, a two and a half hour program on May 21st taught by photographers, Randy and Nancy FitzGerald. Participants will learn the basic tips for taking pictures with style. Then they will hike Rock Hollow Woods' beautiful property applying the skills learned. Yoga in the Great Outdoors- Monday evenings from 6:00-7:15 p.m. Join Tracy Wahl for a 75-minute gentle flow yoga class in the great outdoors. Participants will begin by grounding themselves to Mother Earth. Then they will honor the summer sunlight by flowing through sun salutations. They will move through sequences to open their hearts, move their energy, and dig deeper into specific areas of the body. The practice will close with savasana where participants will use nature to connect with Spirit. Yoga in the Great Outdoors is an adult class that is offered Monday evenings in monthly sessions. Camp Survivor Intermediate: June 27-July 1, 2022; 9:00a.m.-12:00p.m. During Camp Survivor Intermediate, older children will spend time in the great outdoors. Team Building & Environmental Games: June 20-24, 2022: 12:00-3:00 p.m. During Team Building and Environmental Games, campers will engage in a variety of activities that use the natural environment of Rock Hollow Woods’ 67 acres. Campers explore natural ecosystems in fields, woods and streams.
