Summary

Snowing and blowing in the Snowies. Today's visibility is terrible...so much so that most are coming off the mountain early. Earlier in the week we had some nice days with reports of waist high powder on the backside. Milder the next couple days other than increased winds continuing through Tuesday night. More chances of snow coming Wednesday through Sunday next week with the highest accumulation estimates Friday night through Sunday morning followed by milder weather Tuesday through Thursday.

2/21/2021 - We called it quits by 9:30(am). It is near impossible whiteout conditions anywhere near the top and those aren't the kind of conditions we want to chance. Played a little through the trees and areas close to green rock on the way back and there was still great snow anywhere we got off. Can't imagine what it's like on the backside right now! Hopefully the winds die down and we can partake tomorrow.

2/20/2021 - Crazy good amount of powder up there! Waist deep pretty much everywhere besides the highest/unprotected areas where the wind has moved it elsewhere. We got out early and didn't see anyone on the mountain pretty much all day, but coming back to the trailhead...I've never seen so many trucks/trailers/sleds.

2/12/2021 - Tons of new powder! Terrible visibility with as hard as it was snowing, but at least it wasn't due to wind this week. Started out the day at bumper depth on the backside, but by time we were headed back it was getting closer to the handlebars in a lot of areas. Was one of those bittersweet depths...fun to shred up, unless you have some newbies with you requiring a lot of digging out! Ah well, always a good time no matter what. Thanks guys!
