Summary

Steady week for some moderate snow falls with moderate winds and a few bluebird days mixed in making for somewhat safer avalanche conditions than last week, but still be careful as the nearest range that is reported on avalanche.org is reporting moderate danger. Few more moderate snowfalls throughout the week which will hopefully keep the powder that is up there refreshed/reset every few days.

Rider Reports

1/11/2020 - Good conditions where we were at...mostly Southwest of the peaks down V trail for the sake of staying out of the low vis areas this morning. By afternoon when the sun poked we worked our way up towards the quealy warming hut (N trail). Most areas we were in had a decent 10-12 inches with probably closer to 2 feet in the trees/bowled areas. No complaints here!

1/4/2020 - Great snow and couldn't have asked for a better blue bird day today. Still bumper deep, but by the end of the day today we noticed the higher more sun prone areas were starting to get that heavy hero snow feel to it. Still good for today, but if the nice weather that was out today continued much longer it's gonna feel sticky/heavy.

1/3/2020 - Epic out there guys! Visibility really kinda sucked today (Saturday), but when we got into the tree'd and protected areas, it was at least waist deep and, even on the flats, you couldn't stop without making a couple circles to pack a spot down. Put on 20 miles of swimming through powder, 4 hours and we were beat.
