New Process for Inquiries to our Team

Connecting with others is one of the best parts of what we do. The volume of calls and inquires we receive has grown significantly in the past two years. We truly appreciate all of the people who reach out to us

As a small team, we have been looking to find ways to continue making new connections while more effectively managing the significant number of general inquiries we receive from the community. Due to this, we have decided to make some changes to how people can reach out to us with inquiries.

We wanted to make things easier for people who want to reach out to us, so we're providing different options to get your questions answered while also maintaining the option to schedule a call back from us at a time that is convenient for you.

Effective March 1st, there will be multiple ways to get the information you are seeking:

  • EQC inquiries: Our EQC site will be a one-stop-shop for EQC information, registration, and common questions.
  • General inquiries: We will have a chatbot on our website that will answer common questions and provide resources to our website visitors.
  • Service inquiries: People can complete our contact form for follow up about services.
  • Scheduling a call back: People can sign up for a call back at a scheduled time.

We appreciate everyone's support of our work and we expect these new options will quickly get you to the information you're seeking while allowing our small but dedicated team to continue to provide our unique services to the care home community. We'll provide additional updates soon.

Tip of the Week - Licensing Record

Picture

As you probably know, your licensing and compliance history is public record and available online. It's important to stay in compliance, as discharge planners, placement professionals and prospective residents and their families can and do review your compliance history. It's important for you to know what is on your public licensing record.

If you're licensed through the State of Oregon (ODHS), you can check your public licensing record through the State's  Long-Term Care Facility Search site. There you will see your licensing inspection reports. Additionally, if you have any substantiated APS investigations or license conditions, that information will be under the violations and notices tabs.

If you're licensed through the Multnomah County Adult Care Home Program (ACHP), see the Multnomah County Adult Care Options Page.

Our former urgent/self-paced EQC course is now called the Individual Option EQC CourseThis option is the same, high-quality EQC course as our group courses, but in a more flexible format. The registration process and timelines for the individual option are different from our group courses:

  1. Interested individuals will first complete the individual option screening form (see link below).
  2. Students will need to complete a brief individual option EQC orientation before receiving the link to start the course.
  3. Students have up to 30 days to complete Essentials and up to an additional 20 days to complete AFH Administration.
