The Couples Invitational (Held July 27th and 28th) was a huge success. Teams comprised of Members and their guests competed in two different formats of golf and enjoyed great food and fun. The Friday night Derby was exciting for all. The Team of Justin and Trish Howard with their guests Bud and Tiffany Jensen collected the overall Championship. Congratulations and Thank You to the Tournament Committee for a job very well done.

Congratulations to our recently crowned Senior Club Champions. Lauralee Ericson Fired an 89-83 for a two day 172 Total. Steve Nelson won the mens Championship shooting a two day total of 145. Peter Sacks won the overall Mens Net Senior Club Championship. Sherry Marona claimed the Women's overall Net Trophy. The Complete results may be found at the Jerome Country Club Website. Junior Golf News: Thanks to all of you who have supported the JCC Junior Golf Program it has been a great success this season. 53 Junior golfers signed up, and an average of 39 participated each Tuesday and Thursday in June and July.
The Jerome CC Handicap committee has asked me to remind players to post all eligible scores into the USGA Handicap System. The handicap committee will email friendly reminders for members to post all scores. They will be checking to see that players are posting scores. The handicap system allows for both 9 and 18 hole scores to be posted and is there to insure that competitions are fair for all players.
The August Tournament schedule includes The previously mentioned Club Championship the 10th and 11th. The Women's Money for MSTI on Wednesday August 14th , And the Two Person Classic August 23rd thru 25th. The Women's Intercity Matches will be held Wed. Aug 28th.
The Classic is a two of three days event. Two Person Teams will Play Two person best ball on Saturday (9:00 Shotgun Start). The teams will play a McCall Scramble on either Friday or Sunday. Friday and Sunday Start Times will be made by the players and the golf course will be open for non tournament play on those days. Mens Flights and Couples/Women's Flights are included. We would like to encourage Women's Teams and Couples Teams to sign up.
