Fall Family Fun Day; October 23, 2021 2:00-4:30p.m.

Fall Family Fun Day is an event for everyone. Enjoy the great outdoors together while hiking through beautiful Rock Hollow Woods in the autumn season. Participants will enjoy hiking our trails and listening to ghost tales shared by professional storyteller Deborah Pieri, a retired elementary educator with a Masters of Arts in Oral Tradition. After the storytelling, each family will receive a pumpkin to carve together. Families can then explore and play in the area nearby while participating in fall games and crafts. Space is limited so CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION AND TO SIGN UP TODAY!

Join us on an Owl Prowl at Rock Hollow Woods on Friday, October 22, 2021 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Learn about Pennsylvania's native owls, their calls, fun facts about how they've evolved into one of our animals of the night. We'll begin with a short discussion and then we will hike the trails at dusk listening and looking for our feathered friends, and we're sure to see some other interesting critters along the way! CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION AND TO SIGN UP TODAY!

Executive Director's Corner

My first month as Executive Director of Rock Hollow Woods has been quite busy already with the transition of roles and starting a second year of our Nature Pre-K program. I feel that the strategic planning process has really re-energized our organization and I'm excited to explore all of the potential opportunities for growth! I'm very grateful for the continuous guidance from Jean and strong support from the Board of Directors.

If you have ANY questions or ideas (programs, volunteering, events, etc.) please reach out to me at [email protected]

In September we enjoyed a variety of educational programs.

Toddler Time on the Trail, Homeschool Happenings, Nature Pre-K, YAB kickoff retreat, a Scout program, and Yoga in the Great Outdoors.
