Christmas in July Adult Painting Event- Saturday, July 24th, 1:00-3:30 p.m. Adults are invited to join us on Saturday, July 24th from 1:00-3:30 p.m. to enjoy a summer afternoon at Rock Hollow Woods and receive helpful Santa painting instruction from a talented local artist, Karen Zueno (credited for painting our beautiful honeybee mural and the wooden entrance sign). Participants will: *Take a hike to our pavilion *Go through a step-by-step process to paint a miniature Santa gourd figurine *Choose to enter a 50/50 raffle *Choose to enter a raffle for one of Karen's hand-painted pieces Space is limited to CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP TODAY! Adult Yoga in the Great Outdoors- July 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th; 6:00-7:15 p.m. Join us at Rock Hollow Woods for a 75-minute gentle flow yoga class in the great outdoors. Participants will begin by grounding themselves to Mother Earth. Then they will honor the summer sunlight by flowing through sun salutations. They will move through sequences to open their hearts, move their energy, and dig deeper into specific areas of the body. The practice will close with savasana where participants will use nature to connect with Spirit. Space is limited so CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP TODAY! Special thanks to Bill McKay, Superintendent of Governor Mifflin School District, for choosing Rock Hollow Woods as their Staff Retreat location. It was a great day filled with team building, collegiality, collaboration, and time away from school. All of that and in an outdoor setting! The staff was divided into teams that competed in 4 challenges: STEM your Boat, STEM your Nest, STEM your Stream, and STEM your Cicada.
