Family Hike and Animal Tales - May 8, 9:30-11:30 a.m.

Family Hike and Animal Tales is a family event. Enjoy the great outdoors together while hiking through beautiful Rock Hollow Woods.

After a hike to the pavilion area, families will sit and listen to animal tales shared by professional storyteller Deborah Pieri, a retired elementary educator with a Masters of Arts in Oral Tradition. After the storytelling, you may explore and play in the area nearby. Space is limited so CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP TODAY!

Succulent Arranging May 8, 1:00-3:00 p.m.

Take a break and spend a part of Mother's Day weekend at Rock Hollow Woods. Join us for an adult succulent arranging event held on Saturday, May 8, 2021 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Enjoy time in the outdoors as Rosemary Keane from 3 Rosebuds Floral helps you create a natural masterpiece.

Participants will:
*Take a hike to our pavilion
*Go through a step-by-step process to create a succulent arrangement
*Choose to enter a 50/50 raffle
*Choose to enter a raffle for a floral arrangement made by Rosemary

Community Healing Circles- May 21, June 11, July 23, & August 20; 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Join Holly Troupe at Rock Hollow Woods for four evenings of healing, sharing, and community. Community Earth Circles are an opportunity to connect with Nature and receive the healing benefits of our natural resources. CLICK HERE for more information and to register.

Mix It Up! Mixed Media Art & Outside Adventures
During Mix It Up!, campers will learn a variety of mixed media techniques each day, create projects, and by the end of the week have their own mixed media booklet. Following the artistic experiences, the children and teachers will hike, play environmental games, explore the great outdoors and/or have free play each day. Appropriate for children entering 2nd through 7th grades.

Wetland Investigations
During Wetland Investigations, campers will explore the life in streams, swamps, and a pond while collaborating, thinking critically, and using their creativity to complete daily activities. Children will also enjoy free play during each afternoon. ​Appropriate for children entering 2nd through 7th grades.

Woods, Water, and Wildlife
Woods, Water, and Wildlife campers will engage in hands-on exploration, hiking, art projects and storytelling. Campers will explore natural habitats contained in and around fields, woods, and streams. Activities will include: creek exploration, woodland creations, swamp study and more. Appropriate for children entering 2nd through 7th grades.

Biodiversity
Biodiversity Exploration is a day camp experience for older children that meets 4 Monday afternoons. Campers will explore Rock Hollow Woods and learn about biodiversity, energy flow in ecosystems, human impacts on ecosystems, and ecosystem preservation/restoration. Campers should be prepared to spend time outside collaborating and engaging in critical thinking activities. Appropriate for students sixth through ninth grade.

Eclectic Camp
Can't decide on just one camp? Why not try a mix of adventures!

Monday- Music with Emily Smith, certified music educator and music therapist

Tuesday- Magic with Matty Whipple, local talented illusionist

Wednesday- Mixed Media Art with Jenn Engle, a mixed media artist

Thursday- Drumming with Jake Leonowitz, certified music teacher from the Governor Mifflin School District

Friday - ID Trees and Birds with Erin Brown, environmental educator

Each day, campers will also have the opportunity for free play. Appropriate for children entering 2nd through 7th grades.
