As summer comes to an end, it's time to head back to the books - Quilt Books, that is. Books with quilting patterns and new techniques are a great bargain. There are usually many projects included and lots of skill-building designs from which to choose.
If you like at least 2 projects in a book, it is probably cheaper than buying 2 individual patterns, plus you'll have your next project already waiting for you!
The Quilt Branch has been developing quilt patterns in books since 2005. Which ones do you have? Which is your favorite? I usually think the one I am working on is the best! This week it is "Six Halves Make a Whole Nursery" - lots of babies have arrived recently. Next will be "Table Topper Series 3 - Fall" because I need a new topper before Thanksgiving. What will you choose? If it's not in stock at your local shop, ask the owner to order it this week!
