      PELICAN LANDING TO REVISE AMENDMENTS

                           AND VOTING DATE

Most Pelican Landing owners indicated enthusiastic support for direct voting, but some expressed concerned that the 25% threshold, which was recommended to the Board by the Governing Documents Task Force, may be too low. In addition, because the current governing documents written by WCI do not establish uniform processes for elections held in non-incorporated neighborhoods, the PLCA Board wants to provide a framework for holding elections in those neighborhoods.

The Southbridge BOD thanks our you for your quick response and support of the direct voting and PLCA proposals. When the PLCA board sends more information to the residents at large about the amendments and new voting date, we will again summarize it in the Southbridge News & Updates, with further recommended action steps.

WALKIN' ON the WILD SIDE

This "very juvenile" red-shouldered hawk was keeping a close eye on the 8-10' alligator across the creek on Christmas Day.

If you photograph any wild life in Southbridge, please submit the picture to [email protected] for possible publication in the Wild Side column.
