BACK TO SCHOOL

ITAT Leadership Conference

ITAT is back in school and busy as ever! Not only are our Island Teens Spreading the word about tobacco, but they are also informing their community and peers about suicide prevention this year. The school year is off to a great start as ITAT prepares for their first quarterly leadership conference. This conference will be full of educational workshops, activities, and a special guest speaker- Aljay Fuimaono, Polynesian Utah-based artist. The presidency students attending will also kick off the conference with a Walk for Suicide Prevention around the Orem area. Our students are excited and enthusiastic about our new initiative for suicide prevention, Life is Worth Living.

Although there are restrictions in school activities due to COVID-19, our Island teens are still working hard to spread the word on the dangers of vaping, tobacco, and suicide. We are so excited for the new school year!
