Letter from the Editor

Thank you all again for another phenomenal month at RAW! We are now coming up to 2000 followers on LinkedIn alone which is an amazing achievement in 3 months!!! 

We have many opportunities to interact with our community through our social media platforms, but our webinars in particular have given us such an amazing opportunity to meet everyone face to face (albeit virtually). The FinCen leak and Trade Finance webinars allowed for some fantastic discussions and viewpoints, and what continues to surprise us time and time again, is that the Compliance issues and challenges we face from Brazil, Ivory Coast, France, Russia, Malaysia to New Zealand are the same.

This is exactly why we created RAW - to create a community where you can meet and interact with likeminded compliance officers across the globe, to have the discussions we need to enable the changes the industry needs to happen, to drive innovation, to understand how culture can change - we need to all be sharing ideas, experiences and knowledge. 

This month we will also be bringing weekly webinars, including guest speakers from the U.S. Department of Justice and The Remedy Project. We are looking forward to having you join us for want we hope to be an exciting round of discussions. We also hope the Mentor-Mentee Programme goes a long way to bringing gaps and access for career growth.

Thank you all so much for being part of RAW - it's means so much that we are beginning to see the positive change we had envisioned with this community platform in place.

What's New?

The Mentor-Mentee Programme​

RAW Compliance is thrilled to have recently launched The Mentor-Mentee Programme.

The goal of the Mentor-Mentee Programme is to provide support to our community members for:

1. young professionals to have the opportunity to learn, develop, grow and get first-hand experience; and
2. experienced members to give back to the community and pass on their learnings and experiences to a new generation

This is a 1-year programme open to any individual working in Compliance. The Programme is open to everyone, regardless of age, gender or location, and we especially welcome applications from Mentors so we can extend the opportunity to as many Mentees as possible.​
