Our deepest sympathy and condolences to the families of long-time  volunteers Miriam Elva Hively and Don Dietrich. Miriam served as a past council president and Don served as a past trustee.
A woman who recently visited our food center called the office to thank us for our kindness and the food that she received. We receive  many calls and cards throughout the week thanking the volunteers at our six Good Neighbors locations for their kindness and generosity.
"Very helpful loving caring people" was a recent review on our Good Neighbors, Inc. Google Business Page.
Due to health concerns, Kim Coyle Gaug has retired from managing the Cuyahoga Falls Good Neighbors Unit. We thank Kim and her family for their service and dedication to Good Neighbors. Her mother Louise Coyle helped open the first Good Neighbors Cuyahoga Falls Unit in 1968. Kim and Louise both served as past council presidents. We wish Kim a complete recovery and hope that she is feeling better soon.
Mary Pallone Thornton has retired from volunteering with Good Neighbors. We thank Mary for her service and dedication. She served as a trustee, vice president, committee chair and the food center's Monday crew leader. She picked up food orders, cleaned, painted, planted flowers and made new curtains for our food center.
We welcome incoming trustees Susan Reynolds and Bob Roberts. Sue is a past trustee, she and her husband Roger have been volunteering at our food center for many years. They help pick up the food bank orders throughout the week. Bob and his wife Lynn volunteer on Wednesdays and pick up the food bank order on that day.
We thank Valerie Straw for volunteering her time to serve as our council president.

We are so grateful to Sean and Nancy O'Connor for their continued  help and support.
Mary Pallone Thornton, Jenny Siebert, Mark Pallone and Edith Kieffaber donated and planted flowers and hosta around the food center. They have been volunteering their time to do this every year.
