pvsd giants outing Sunday, april 10th
Kick off the Giants' season by joining your Portola Valley School Community for a fun day of baseball at Oracle Park Sunday, April 10th, when the San Francisco Giants face off against the Miami Marlins at 1:05 PM. A special section has been reserved on Giants' opening weekend for the families and faculty of PVSD – including Ormondale, Corte Madera and the school district offices.

Thank You Book Fair Chairs and Volunteers!
Thank you to our Book Fair Chairs, Laura Davidson, Kimberley Morris Rosen and Angie Stern for working tirelessly to put together a fun and successful Book Fair. We especially appreciate your creativity in adding new events such as the Saturday Books and Bagels and CMS night to expand the Fair’s reach. Our students and families enjoyed themselves shopping at the Fair and the school libraries will benefit from funds raised.

literacy library need volunteers
Volunteers are needed to help organize and digitize the Literacy Library over the next several weeks. The Literacy Library is the collection of books sorted by reading level that students select for their book bags. CMS Staff Appreciation Week Starts Monday!
Show a little extra love to your teachers this week. This is Staff Appreciation Week at CMS! You should have received communications from your room and grade parents on how you can help show our amazing staff your appreciation. Here is the schedule of events we have to celebrate our great staff:
- Monday, March 14th: Caffeinate: Custom Coffee Cart and donuts for a sweet start to the week.
- Tuesday, March 15th: Flower Power: Flower delivery
- Wednesday, March 16th: Holi Hai: Indian inspired luncheon
- Thursday, March 17th: Thanks: Class gifts and cards distributed to staff
- Friday, March 18th: Brunch: Breakfast burritos in the staff room

Order your child’s CMS 2021-22 yearbook by going to the Yearbook Order Center (school code 7530). You can order yearbooks, design dedications (called "Ads"), or upload photos (click the "Share images with ESHARE" button) for possible inclusion in the yearbook. Note: starting January 15 Herff Jones will be placing a $3.99 surcharge on all new online CMS Yearbook orders.
