March 2023 Newsletter

It's almost spring! What strange weather we've had here in California! Blizzard! Flash floods! Snow in Los Angeles! Crazy! This month is Women's History Month; don't forget to write about or research the women in your family history!

Tomorrow starts the largest family history event in the world, RootsTech! Being hybrid this year, it's not too late to sign up for the in-person (Salt Lake City, Utah) or  Virtual (FREE) 3-day event! You can sign up at: RootsTech

Also, the Southern California Genealogical Society's 3-day Genetic Genealogy Conference begins on March 31st. Their Genealogy Jamboree has been broken up into part 1 in the spring and part 2 in the fall. You can learn more about it in my blog, Genetic Genealogy Conference 2023: Uncovering Your Genetic Inheritance and on their site at: Genealogy Jamboree.com. I will be there on Saturday, April 1st DNA consulting on AncestryDNA and unknown parentage. If you need help with those topics, then don't forget to sign up for one of my time slots. You can learn more here: Genealogy Jamboree Speaker Detail.

Stay tuned for this year's Genealogy Wish Grants announcement and application period, coming soon!

Be sure to check out my upcoming speaking events for the year, in which most are FREE; my newest blog posts, for tips and tricks, and more news; and my newest social genealogy and family history questions, latest updates, and genealogy quick tips on my Facebook Page and Group for this month! You're all invited to join!

Happy almost spring!
