- This week was a slow reading week, but I did find a good example of alliteration used for humor. Never Tickle A Tiger is full of alliteration, in fact it drives the story. It is also a poor example of other things. The opening lines suggest a moral, or lesson, that is not carried through to the end. In fact, it is implied that the main character has not actually learned the lesson at all.
