Love Bites, Love Bleeds

(Venus in the heart of the Sun)

Do. Not. Miss. This Train!

Hi friends! You can follow my latest thoughts on the astrological weather at my Facebook Page, Astrology the Cosmic Mirror with Moses Siregar, and in addition to my posts like the one below, I've uploaded a new video. You're welcome to subscribe to my offerings at YouTube.

I'm so excited to be offering my first beginning-level class since the era of the dinosaurs: Introduction to Holistic Astrology. This class is a foundation in my comprehensive, hopefully humble, carefully nuanced approach to my integration of western and vedic, modern and ancient, and locational astrology. That means it's also a good class for more advanced students who want to broaden and deepen their knowledge. I'm looking to start an additional class soon, and deciding between starting over with a new group on locational astrology, or a course on spiritual astrology. What's your vote?

My 2019 Holistic Locational Astrology Class ran for 15 weeks, and the 30 hours of recorded class video will be available for $100 off the regular $400 price until October 1st ($300). Here's some copy on the class:

I'm also offering a short-term sale for $25 off any consultation. Just use the coupon 25D.

And Here's the Astro Weather

💥 ASTROLOGY

Love Bites, Love Bleeds | Do. Not. Miss This Train!

As I write this in the evening on Monday (8/12), the Moon has just emerged from her tough hike through Capricorn, past Saturn, the South Node, and Pluto. Sunday and Monday showed the contrast of yet another slap in the face from reality, while Jupiter turning direct creates a turning point, new ways of handling the relentless demands for change in 2019 and a whole new potential vision of self. Don't focus on what looks the same, look for what is different, softer and kinder, and it may be something subtle but critically important.

Venus has recently been the elephant touched by the blind men, shimmering in both darkness and light and prone to being interpreted and experienced either way. Astrologers might assign either sweet love and joy to Venus approaching the Sun, or the slow, painful burn of Venus's "combustion" as she disappears into the starry furnace, takes a breath, then comes out the other side to a full moon and further Leo-Pisces emotional drama. Love lives and love dies (thanks again, Def Leppard), and this is a time for love to transition from one phase to another.

Whether you'll experience the peace and love of Venus in the heart of the Sun on the 13th and 14th, or the intensity of Venus's transition from morning to evening star, and there's a real good chance you'll experience some of both (the intensity has been at play especially in the days prior to the 13th, and then again after the 14th), your recent experiences have hopefully given you new insights, support, or ways to handle your most challenging relationships and your pressing need to level up as a human being.

The full moon on the 15th highlights the pressures and pain that have been simmering while new spiritual doors have opened, and it looks to be the beginning of a new phase that will soon challenge our relationships even more.

It is critically important to look back at all of the gifts and insights and experiences that have recently shown you a better way, a more positive approach, because the secrets to your own emotional and personal success have likely been visiting you, particularly if you're paying attention. We can't keep expecting a different result while trying the same things over and over. If you want to evolve at this time, you'll need the discipline to change habits of behavior, thinking, and communication, and to follow a lighter path.

The 13th and 14th may be the real 'Lion's Gate' this year, a time of not just yummy transits (like we had on 8/8, which is probably why so many were enjoying it), but a profound moment to pause and reflect on what is working and feeling right even while we're under pressure, and to commit to carrying that energy forward, with real effort to maintain that balance even when the transits turn wild again.

More than anything, we're living this life to learn how to love, to forgive ourselves and 'others,' to believe in ourselves and shine from the heart to uplift. As we experience the full moon, especially on the 15th, and then feel our hearts tugged and torn in multiple directions, let's hope that the positive experiences and lessons from the last week, as well as the deep insights to be gained on the 13th and 14th, help us to express and get more used to that purified heart and spirit.

Jupiter carries us forward now, a nice relief for Sagittarians in particular, and over the next 3-4 months Jupiter is hoping to seed us with positive teachings and direction to help us rebound from and navigate the intense changes of 2019 and the heavy challenges of 2020 when Jupiter's light dims in the sign of Capricorn. Now is the time to lock in new habits of spiritual inspiration and practice, even if it's just making nature a bigger part of your life routine. I suspect that those who simply look for a breather without making real progress on a deeper commitment to a spiritual path are going to regret, in 2020, passing up this golden opportunity in the heart of the lion. Right now, set the controls for the heart of the sun.

Turn toward the higher power that guides you, and keep asking for that help until you know that real change has happened, that transformation has been locked in as new habits meant to carry you through the trials ahead.

One of my earliest spiritual teachers said that it is a universal law that any being asking for help from higher beings MUST be given that help.

We always have that one ace up our sleeve, that spiritual trick that always works. Ask (for help), and you shall receive.

May all beings be happy and free!

I'm enjoying a busy schedule with clients, keeping busy with Holistic Locational Astrology (Astrocartography, plus much more) and my own approach to general astrology that I call Holistic Astrology. If you're interested in a consultation, feel free to call, email, or text, and I'll be happy to answer any questions!

"I’ve known Moses for a long time now--really since he was the “hot new young astrologer on the scene.” He was good back then, but now I can only imagine what the years have taught him. Of all fields, astrology is near the top of the ones that reward rather than punish the passing of years, and for good reason: the more transits you’ve consciously experienced, the more skillful you potentially become. Take my word for it: Moses’ long dedication to our craft is fruit hanging ripe from the low branches now. Grab a session with him, soak up his wisdom and spiritual encouragement -- and tell him for me that he looks pretty good for an old guy, OK?"
