I will bake this Friday August 7th for pick up at my home on Friday evening. I will attend the Vankleek Hill Farmers Market this Saturday August 8th from 9.30am to 12.30 pm. We welcome pre-orders and public browsing. Also join us for some live music. I will deliver to homes on my trip on Saturday to Vankleek Hill. I will travel through Crysler, Limoges, Casselman and St-Isidore on the way there in the early morning. In the afternoon, I will return home through Alexandria and Maxville. If there is enough demand, I can also loop through Cornwall and area on my trip home. I need your order please by Thursday evening 8pm in order to prepare enough levain overnight. Next week, August 13th, I will be at the Parkdale Farmers Market in Ottawa and I will perform home deliveries in Ottawa and in the region west of Berwick. There is a minimum order of two loaves for a home delivery on a scheduled route. Take advantage of my organic flours and baking ingredients, also available in the virtual store. Farmers Market are open! With the COVID pandemic, farmers markets were slow to open this spring and some even decided to not open this year. Many farmers markets are now open to public browsing and the vendors are thriving. Consumers are renewing their love affair with local delicious food. Tom's Pantry offers sourdough bread on alternating weeks at the Vankleek Hill Farmers Market and the Parkdale Farmers Market . While visiting me at the Vankleek Hill market, please also say hello to my neighbour Adrien Quenneville from Black Duck Farm , who is raising organic pastured poultry in North Lancaster. The Metcalfe Farmers Market is also back in operation every Saturday. When you are there, please visit my friends Anna and Patrick Brunet at Dream Small Farm . They are growing organic veggies and poultry in Alexandria. iNTRODUCING THE aUGUST FEATURES This is a new month. Let's welcome for August the white wheat beer bread with Beau's Full Time IPA (a real hops delight), the pumpernickel bread, the ciabatta, the french baguette, chocolate and cranberries on Kamut flour, and several others.
