Hey everyone, I know you were probably expecting some BIG food content from Ty today. Unfortunately, our boy's been busy and will be holding onto the knowledge darts just a bit longer. Stay tuned as next month's uMAHmi will be back and better than ever!

Weekly Specials:

"can i get a bite?"

  1. This one's for the fellow "Goners" out there. ‘How Long Gone’ Is in It for the Long Haul. Despite their Canada jokes and Edmonton jokes, CB and TJ are the closest things I've had to co-workers in a year and a half. They can volley with the best of them!
  2. Reynolds, Greco, Ellington and B. Herman might not be there anymore, but the current roster of Emerica rips equally as hard. They might not be The Piss Drunx, but don’t blow it—you gotta see THIS. Emerica's "THIS" Video.
  3. This one's coming in from the BIG BOSS. Manoj Dias: Staying Open, Still Together & The Evolution of Practice. A podcast ep from Into The Well that's hosted by Ryan Willms (Hollistic Life Coach/Creative Director, former founder of Inventory Magazine). "Manoj does some pretty cool stuff. I find his works  in the wellness space very interesting since it draws on his upbringing as a Buddhist and his South East Asian culture equally as meditation, fitness, and overall designing a better quality of life." - @raelandmendoza

Look, BIG BOSS loves him some Drake. Face it we're all a little guilty for it. He only makes bops and I'm not here to wade into the waters of Kanye vs Drake. All I'll say is although I will not be purchasing any of this Nocta Golf stuff, it's endlessly more wearable and functional than a zipless, buttonless puffer jacket from the GAP.

Honestly the Nocta Golf collection isn't that bad and it's legit golf gear as worn by pro golfer Brooks Koepka. Much like Drake this collection is a unifier for both lovers of the game and streetwear culture. If this get's BIG BOSS out to the course, I ain't mad at it. As Nocta captioned a post announcing the line: “Everyone’s welcome.”

Editor's Note:

As much I don't partake in golf (that's for another newsletter), Nocta has a special spot on my radar as  Jeremy Karl,   designer of both Nocta & Arc'Teryx's System_A, has not missed at all this year. Also, if you don't find that one photo of Drake with an upside down visor HILARIOUS then something is wrong with you.  - @raelandmendoza
