Hello, A busy past week and some busy weeks coming up. Several years ago, I received my Event Management diploma from MRU; and let me tell you, preparing for an event online is not too much different from planning for a live, in-person affair. Melding technology vs old school makes for interesting thoughts on getting things done. Last week I mentioned our countdown. We are now in the last days of our special event. As this newsletter goes out, and if you don’t follow us on Facebook or Instagram, we are three sleeps ​ away from introducing the world to the first book in our Barn Cat Buttons Series. The crew from Barn Cat Buttons Meets Princess Kylie is going to have their day on Wednesday, September 15, 2021. The gravel road office days make for perfect opportunities to write, take pictures, and take part in other hobbies I enjoy. And yes, I am still planning to host a live online event before the end of the month. Writing, for me, isn’t always about sitting down to pen pages and pages of a book. I like to let my mind wander to other forms of writing such as Flash Fiction ​ and the occasional Haiku ​.
