Summer production continues into Autumn as we establish our winter garden over the next few weeks. March + April are the busiest months with successive planting + harvesting, alongside establishing new beds in front of the washroom + shortly our 'Patagonia Block' beds (aka @agricolaraiz)
Thank you to the awesome team we've had in the gardens this season Sam, Renske, David + Adrian, legends.
We made a few new tool purchases this season: the Paperpot transplanter + 3 Row Jang seeder. Active Vista in Tasmania provide an exceptional service making it easy + supplying us with all we need in the way of tools. They supply market-farm + gardening equipment like the custom seed rollers, Drop-Seeeder propagation trays through to larger tools like the Jang, the Salad Greens Harvester + the Tilther. We appreciate the support they provide + are really enjoying the R+D designing innovative tools for the small scale gardening community.

Fernando Garcia de Vinuesa
Madrid, Spain

Fernando trained at Roebuck Farm three months prior to Country Calendar filming. Having developed backyard gardens for clients in Spain, he wanted to up skill and develop a market garden.
Upon his return to Madrid, he leased land + set to work placing a walk in chiller under a marquee and began initially with micro greens, then field salads, greenhouse crops, diversifying his crops as his market space grew.
Fernando has also been running education and creating great content on his Instagram page @elsembrador_madrid
We continue to train farmers from all around the world who have a vision + a passion to learn. We enjoy seeing them quickly up skill + implement new learnings in their own projects.
