CLUB UPDATE - 24th November 2021 

Club Achievement Certificates

In recognition of everybody's efforts last term the club instructors nominated club members for achievement certificates as an appreciation and recognition of their endeavours.  These went to :-

  • Oscar Temple - Star of the term Assistant Coach
  • William Loh - Swimmer of the Month
  • Harriet Stonecliffe-Jones - Best Bob Dive
  • Daniel Hinchliffe - Best Rope Throw
  • Tilly Thomas - Most Improved First Aider
  • Scarlet Whitehouse - Outstanding Effort

Subscriptions - REMINDER

The current term started 4 weeks ago on 3Nov for 7 weeks.  Can you please settle any outstanding subs online via the club website.

Awards & RLSS Membership

Following on from the last newsletter. 

Can all parents please ensure their child has RLSS membership and that their profile (contact, address, profile photo, etc) is all up to date.  We still missing many of the children's RLSS Membership numbers. 

That said we wholly respect if particular club members are happy to learn and enjoy the club nights but do not wish their child to be an RLSS member and therefore to not be entered for any RLSS awards.  

Can you let us have their RLSS Number (if not already).  Thank you!

Xmas Shopping and Club fund raising

As the festive season is near (or for some the Xmas Trees are already up!!) you are probably aware of Amazon Affiliation shopping.  This is a way - AT NO EXTRA COST TO YOURSELF - to raise much need funds for clubs and organisations and clubs such as us. Every purchase using this approach ensures Amazon makes a small donation to the Lifesaving Club in return.    

Therefore we'd be very very grateful if you'd consider when shopping online (especially for big ticket items !) at Amazon to launch using our affiliation link please.  And possibly even bookmark this for future reference when launching Amazon for your shopping needs.
