A Conversation with Dr Eboo Patel
The 2nd Christ Church Annual Speaker Series features Dr Eboo Patel, founder and president of Interfaith Youth Core (ifyc.org). For over fifteen years he has worked with governments, social sector organizations, and college and university campuses to help make interfaith cooperation a social norm. His books include: Acts of Faith, InterFaith Leadership and Sacred Ground. He served on President Obama's inaugural Advisory Council of the White House Office of Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships and holds a doctorate in the sociology of religion from Oxford University.

Portola Valley Theatre Conservatory (PVTC) offers imaginative, challenging THEATRE CLASSES this winter!
PVTC's classes are open to students of all skill level, novice to experienced. In addition to teaching acting skills, these classes build self-confidence and encourage collaboration with peers. Each week, students learn about theatre through well-loved theatre games and creative acting exercises. These young actors also rehearse a short play that is performed at the end of the 10 week session for family and friends. Our winter theme is A Greener Earth. Actors will explore stories that require them to roll up their sleeves and make the world a better place! Classes start the week of Jan. 22nd.
