We support Food Lions efforts to donate one billion meals by 2025! Through your donations Food boxes are annually given to families from schools in VA to churches in Detroit, MI. Thank you to the helpful staff at Food Lion Stores! Stamp out hunger Praise God for overflow! Additional food donations are also in the process of being donated to The Journey Church food pantry, open to anyone who walks up in the Franconia Community in Springfield, VA. This is an ongoing program we look forward to continuing to support throughout this new year! The Finney Foundation is so pleased to continue our annual partnership, and with your help 170 bags were given to bless the women of the Nashville Rescue Mission! They are God's Angels! We are so happy to have encountered a few at Ypsilanti Middle School in MI, and Rose Hill Elementary in VA! School supplies, PPE and other items were donated as a result of your help! Families in need had less worry about getting their students ready for school again this year because of your donations that enabled school counselors to stock supply closets and pass out needed school supplies, toiletries, coats and many other items to students need! cold weather supplies Helping those we encounter on our streets is one of our main goals. Food, toiletries, PPE; all are a constant need and our efforts to have these items on hand year round means your help is needed and appreciated! We always have bags ready to pass out no matter where we are and find those needing help! The Detroit Rescue Mission celebrated 106 years of helping the homeless and your support enable us to donate cold weather items to the DRMM Third St. Facility annually. Coats, hats, gloves, scarves, socks and hand warmers are always needed during winter months! operation christmas How would you feel as a child with no Christmas presents? The Finney Foundation donates shoe boxes to Samaritan's Purse each year because we don't want to see that happen to any family with children who can't afford toys, coloring books, crayons, dolls, trucks and other fun treats! "For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?'
