Schedule Change Saturday

Tomorrow morning, we decided to switch the groups due to the cold temperatures.

  • The Returning Rowers (Girls and Boys) will come to practice 8-10am.
  • The Freshmen (Girls and Boys) and the Boys Novice 4+ will come to practice at 10:30-12:30pm.
  • The 7th and 8th Group will attend practice at the scheduled time: 1-3pm.

Please be at PRRA 30min before practice starts.

BUS SCHEDULE

Any changes in scheduling because of the weather will be communicated through Instateam tomorrow

Tomorrow, Tuesday we start water practice !!!

Please keep in mind:

To PRRA: The first group catches the bus outside the RHS gym. The bus leaves at 3:15 sharp to go to PRRA.

To PPRA: The next group catches the bus outside the RHS gym at 4:45 - the bus will leave at 5pm sharp to go to PRRA. (this time is different than the time noted on Instateam)

Return: The first group will return at approximately 6:45pm from PRRA. 

Return:The second group will return at approximately 8:45pm from PRRA.

 Pick up times will vary depending on traffic and how late the rowers can be on the water.

As a reminder, there will be no Monday practices once we start water practices. Tuesday - Sunday we will practice at PRRA. Rowers catch the bus outside the Gym Tuesday - Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, please carpool

ROW-A-THON 

We have launching Ridgewood Crew’s 2018 Row-a-Thon Campaign!!  

Saturday, March 24th from 10AM to 3PM at Van Neste Square in Ridgewood.


Our goal is to raise $25,000!   Each Rower is required to raise a minimum of $300.

For those more aggressive with fundraising, there are some incentives... Top dollar amount raised over $1,500 receives a $600 Cash Card, 2nd Place will receive a $400 Cash Card and 3rd Place will receive a $200 Cash Card.

All checks should be made out to Ridgewood Crew.

Parents - Please go to InstaTeam to sign up and help with the event.  All times noted on InstaTeam.  Your help is needed…  We need help with:

  • Transportation of Erg from RHS before the event and at the end of the even back to RHS
  • Bakers for goods to sell and people to sell them at the event
  • People to set up and clean up at the end of the day

Rowers Sign up for Erging at the event is on InstaTeam.   Time slots are 10 – 11:30am, 11:30 to 1pm and 1:00 to 2:30pm.  ALL rowers are required to sign up for a time slot.

ALL donations collected help fund our program…  Please Thank all of the donors for their Support!!

Crew Dues - 3rd Installment Due!

First, thanks to everyone who sent in the 2nd payment on time, it is greatly appreciated.  The third and final payment is coming

due on March 15th.

I would like to GENTLY remind everyone of the Ridgewood Crew Expectations, Rules, and Codes of Conduct For Student and Parents that everyone signed at the beginning of the season.  Section 2, Rower Fees and Required Forms states, “All payments are due when scheduled. Late payments may result in a rower being suspended from practices and/or regattas until such payment is made.  Such suspension will count as an Unexcused Absence."

Please note that all fees must be paid in full prior to the first regatta on Sunday, April 8.”
