In May of 2023, Ellyn joined the staff of OPL in the Circulation Department, which was a dream come true! She is a transplant from the north, growing up in southwestern Ohio. She has lived in six states and more than 25 years in the South. Ellyn's background is in education and was blessed to be able to homeschool her four children for a number of years. Her main hobby is reading; she has a reading goal of 260 books for 2023! She loves talking about and encouraging others to read. Ellyn's other hobbies including traveling, hanging out with her family, and sewing. Her favorite book is Pride and Prejudice and Jane Austen is her most loved author.
CJ started at OPL in May of 2023 at the Circulation Desk. She loves reading, writing, and spending time in nature. She also loves spending time with her husband and three animals: Buttons the dog, Nebula the cat, and Burd the bird! Her favorite genre is fantasy, but she loves recommendations for anything and everything! Her favorite author is Neil Gaiman and she will forever recommend reading his novel Stardust.
