Pathways Rhythms November 2021 Practice of the Month Our contemplative practice for November is a meditation for healing that awakens compassion and reminds us of the interdependent nature of healing. Join us on Tuesday mornings at 8:00 for this practice - in person and online. Online Advent Visio Divina Visio Divina (divine seeing) combines the traditional process of Lectio Divina (divine reading) with the visual arts. Each Wednesday a different art piece will be the focus – with the invitation to see beyond first impressions. Wednesday mornings (Nov. 24 - Dec. 15), 8-8:30am. Deep Leadership Community of Practice Facilitated by co-director, Evan Miller, the Deep Leadership Community of Practice provides rest, reflection, and renewal specifically for organizational leaders. It helps leaders go deeper by exploring key ideas in the company of like-minded, supportive leaders, and nurturing their own inner work. Interested for yourself or someone you know? Go here for more information. Holiday Closure Pathways will be closed for the holidays from December 20 through January 10. Volunteer Thank You November is a time for focusing on gratitude and giving thanks for the many volunteers that make our work load lighter at Pathways. In October, a group of 20 Goshen College students mulched flower beds and walkways on the property. In addition, East Goshen Mennonite Church youth and sponsors raked ankle turners (walnuts!) off the walking paths and dragged brush to a fire. We're also grateful to Christine Guth who came for several hours to cut and daub invasive plants and to Bob Smoker for helping Evan Miller put down fresh mulch on the path to the Cottage. Thanks to all of you! We are so grateful for all of our volunteers. We truly could not do it without you!
