Pathways Rhythms March 2023 Board of Directors Announcement on Staff Changes For many years Pathways has been guided by our three co-directors: Linda Thomas, Julie Stegelmann, and Evan Miller. In 2020 Janell Stoltzfus was employed as administrative assistant on a marginal basis. At the request of the co-directors, it is now time for a change. The seeds for this change are written into the 2022 strategic plan. The three co-directors will be relinquishing much of the administrative work into Janell’s capable hands so that they will have more time for family and/or other ministry possibilities. This shift is exciting for them and also for Pathways as they broaden their ministry outreach. Linda Thomas is now the Director and Ministry Coordinator. Janell is the Administrative and Land Manager. Julie Stegelmann is the Prayer Coordinator; Steve Thomas is the Land Steward, and Evan Miller is Project Specialist. The Board envisions these changes as enhancing our purpose of rest, reflection, and renewal. For more information on this exciting leadership change, see the website . From our Ash Wednesday Service "Lent, more than most things, is about existing in the pain of the world, not rushing past it toward spiritual toxic positivity. It’s a season not for answers but for ancient questions—of death, grief, expectation, hunger, fear, mortality. In Lent, we are reminded of our humanity in all its frailty and beauty, and as we approach one another we bear witness to both, refusing to look away."
