Our sincere thanks to all the Carnegie Art Museum audience and members that have campaigned during the unfolding City of Oxnard FY 2019-20 budget crisis in support of keeping the museum open. Your spontaneous emails to the City  were all remarkable testimonies on how the Carnegie has been an integral part of teaching your students, of directing youth to positive life paths, or of increasing your well-being, have been priceless proof of the importance of Carnegie to to city and county residents. We thank you for being the  catalyst to making sure this closure is temporary.

Buddhist Meditation is an ancient set of teachings, which enables the practitioner to connect body and mind in the moment with utmost loving-kindness to oneself and to the rest of the world.  Mindful and light physical movements are used to bring oneself to the present moment.
