Improve your Company’s Wellbeing Initiatives

Based in Clonmel’s Ard Gaoithe Commercial Centre and established in 2009 by financial wellbeing professionals Brendan Reilly & Jim Stapleton, Eolas Wellbeing and their sister company Eolas Money, work with employers locally & nationally to design and deliver employee financial wellbeing initiatives as well as company benefit plans such as employee pension, death in service & income protection plans.

Speaking with Financial Wellbeing Director Jim Stapleton, Jim commented that “many organisations already have initiatives in place which encourage positive work atmospheres, healthy eating, reducing stress etc. However, employers recognise that employees may need help with more than just their pension and retirement plans and that an employee’s financial worries has a direct impact on absenteeism and productivity. When people better understand and have control over their personal finances they are simply happier, healthier and more productive. Therefore, our role is to provide onsite support for employees to promote financial literacy and education and our financial wellbeing initiatives are organised on a standalone basis, or integrated as part of an overall employer led benefits initiative, such as a Wellbeing or Benefits Week”.

Brendan commented that “if any of our Chamber colleagues would like to have a discussion to help improve their employees financial wellbeing or to promote a company benefits plan, we would be delighted to share over 30 years of combined experience in the provision of employee and employer workplace wellbeing initiatives”.
